Crookabeck offers Bed & Breakfast accommodation in a stunning, rural location in Patterdale, nestled under Place Fell. A unique stone and slate converted old farm building on the beautifully tranquil Crookabeck Farm which is home to pure bred Herdwicks and Red Fox sheep.  Walks right from the door include Helvellyn, St Sunday Crag, Fairfield, Arnison, Place Fell and Angle Tarn.

Ullswater, England’s most beautiful lake is approximately a mile away and offers a wide variety of activities from sailing, fishing and windsurfing or taking the Ullswater Steamer across the lake to Howtown or Pooley Bridge.

The nearest pub is a pleasant half a mile walk away.  Further pubs, hotels, cafes and convenience stores are in the neighbouring village of Glenridding.
